The Abseitz tournament had to reach its fifth edition to get its eventual name. Inspired by other LGBT tournaments with catchy names and based on the geographical position in Germany's Southwest, it was called "Wild Wild South".
Just like in the years before competitions were held in Badminton and Volleyball. The tournament party was in Lauras Club, the Sunday brunch in the Café Marquardt right in the city centre.
