Get fit and relaxed at WWS!

You're in the mood for some fitness classes? You want to try something new or test your own limits? Would you prefer to take it easy and gently relax your body in between? Then our fitness and relaxation day is just what you have been waiting for. We offer a wide range of fantastic courses with professional and experienced instructors. You can join us from 9 a.m. and spend the whole day doing fitness and relaxation courses with us. The whole day, only in the morning or in the afternoon, or single classes - it's entirely up to you.

 

Programme

The hall opens at 8:15 a.m., followed by a short welcome at 8:50 a.m.

The following courses will then be offered on two floors. Fitness will take place on the ground floor (changing rooms on the first floor), relaxation on the second floor (changing rooms on the third floor). There is a lift in the building.

Yoga in the Morning...

...gets you going!
In this yoga class we mobilize, strengthen and stretch the body. We use the energies of the morning to start the day centered and conscious. It is a yoga class for inexperienced as well as advanced yogis. Bring your own mat and possibly a blanket and - if you have one - a meditation cushion.

Boxing

In this class, you will learn the basics of boxing – with a focus on technique, fitness and coordination. After an intensive warm-up, you will practise various punch combinations, partner exercises and elements from fitness boxing. This is not about competition, but about fun, exercise and a holistic workout for body and mind. The course strengthens your power, endurance and responsiveness – ideal for reducing stress and recharging your batteries.

Traditional Asian martial arts meet the modern world of fitness. The mental and physical strength of martial arts and various martial arts schools merges with cardio and functional elements to create a sweaty and innovative experience.

CardioMix

Ono

You can expect a colorful mix of strength, endurance and flexibility. The all-round program for the whole body consists of endurance and strength exercises, sometimes with the use of small weights, and ensures a good mood and strong muscles.

Aerobic-Workout

After a few minutes of warmup we'll learn some steps and moves, up to 3 or 4 choreography blocks, which in the end will make a whole performance choreography. This Aerobic workout will greatly improve your cardio fitness, coordination and stamina. The class finishes with a cool down unit and some stretching.

Zumba®

Zumba® is pure joy! This dance fitness workout combines rousing Latin American rhythms with simple movements to create an effective full-body workout. There's no pressure to perform, just maximum fun. You'll improve your fitness, coordination and flexibility – and get your body and mind moving.

To finish the day, this class provides a few exercises focusing on movement, body awareness and flexibility. These exercises are designed to improve your flexibility, elasticity and release tension.
This is the time and place to feel your body recovering.

Autogenic Training

Autogenic training is a method of self-relaxation. It comprises six basic exercises that are performed step by step in a fixed order using mentally spoken sentences. The exercises are performed lying down and/or sitting. Practised regularly, autogenic training can bring about lasting inner peace and serenity, improving performance and concentration.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR)

Conscious tension and relaxation: In this calm, everyday relaxation course, you will learn to tense different muscle groups in a targeted manner and then relax them deeply. This simple but highly effective method helps you reduce stress, improve your body awareness and find inner peace. The exercises are easy to learn and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Perfect for completely unwinding in the middle of the day and recharging your batteries.

 

Participation Info

The courses are suitable for sportspeople of every level, both beginners and experienced ones will get their money's worth. The instructors will also keep an eye on the training level of the participants and adjust the level as needed.

Fees:
Full package - all seven classes: 55,- €
Half Day (09:00 - 13:10 or 13:20 - 17:50): 35,- €
Single fee per class: Yoga and Boxing 15,- € each, all other classes 12,- € each.

Food:
Drinks (water, apple spritzer, coffee) as well as snacks in the form of fruit and fitness bars will be provided.

Please bring:
In addition to indoor sports shoes you need enough sports clothes, also to change and warm clothes for the breaks or for relaxation.
A small sweat towel for the training and a big shower towel should not be missed.
If possible, you should bring an exercise mat for the yoga classes. We have a few in stock.
For the Autogenic Training and Progressive Muscle Relaxation classes, we recommend a mat, towel or cushion to lie on, comfortable clothing and, if necessary, thick socks.
Finally, you need of course your equipment to make you fit for the road again after the sport.
