Swimming

During the 8-hours-swim, participants try to swim as far as possible within the given 8 hours.

Rules

Swimmers can start as often as they wish, the swum distances will be added together, short breaks at the starting area at the lane are allowed. The use of any floatation devices or wet suits is not allowed. Each participant will swim with a numbered swimming cap, which is provided by us. DSV- / FINA-approval is not necessary. We will finish the tournament with a fun “prosecco relay”. The rules will be explained at the swimming pool.

Scoring
From 2.000 m: bronze medal
From 6.000 m: silver medal
From 10.000 m: gold medal

The three women and the three men who cover the longest distances will receive a trophy.

Each swimmer will receive a certificate with the distance swum.

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony will take place at the end of the tournament in the swimming pool hall.

Participation Info

The participation fee is 29,50,- €.
It includes entry to the pool building as well as snacks and drinks.

The number of participants is limited to 50.
